beaut film scores //
So, this is a bit of a different kind of post to many on forteloud. Film music has always been such a love of mine and a type of music which should be promoted more because I believe they are just as inspiring and emotive as popular music.
I used to listen to film music when revising for my GCSE's because I found them great to focus too and found myself on YouTube and Spotify to find playlists with hours of tracks I could have on in the background. Now, I use them when writing my books to help create a mood and/or just listen to scores because I genuinely love listening to them. I found this playlist recently and thought it was a really great collection of really emotive pieces from a variety of composers.
All of the pieces are really beautiful but below are my favourites from the playlist:
'Pan's Labyrinth Lullaby' by Javier Navarette from Pan's Labyrinth
'Goodbye' by Jan A.P. Kaczmarek from Hachi
'Honor' by Hans Zimmer, Geoff Zanelli and Blake Neely from The Pacific
'Ezio's family' by Jesper Kyd from Assassins Creed
'The Letter' by Harry Gregson-Williams from The Town
Javier Navarette
