Next in Line;

So, I previously did an 'Artist' post about these guys so it's safe to say (perhaps called me biased) that I like them and so, thought i'd post about their favourite song of mine... At the start of this month, I saw a new upload of them doing a little piano performance of their song Next in Line and as soon as I listened to it, I immediately remembered it back from when I saw them live (which, since it was a while ago, is quite impressive) and remembered how much I loved it when I first heard it.
I genuinely just love their overall sound (for me, it's exactly the kind of music I really love) but Next in Line grabbed me from the get go... I love the repetitive chord pedal notes which drive through the song, holding and pushing the rhythm along so we captivated from the get go till the end (although, I press repeat straight away, so I guess it just keeps going!). I love the rock influences especially in the sections after the chorus; the sound is powerful and works well with the vocal "Ooohs" so you just have to sing along... I also love the riff on the electric guitar. It's melodic and easy to remember so the listeners have something familiar to hold onto throughout the entire song. It comes back just enough to be catchy and not enough to be too repetitive, showing this songs structure to be, although typically pop, not as simple as some other music produced by similar bands.
This is great driving in the car track and I am loving it at the moment. I suggest if you haven't listened/heard of them, check out my previous 'Artist' post about them on the blog and check out their songs on YouTube... As I said before, I think people will really like them and I think this a great song to get more people interested!
