Sirens;
Sirens is my absolute favourite Tom track... It's the last one on his album 'Long Way Down' and was previously an iTunes single of the week. The song starts with a simple little piano ostinato with Tom's wonderful vocals overlapping... Then it grows with the introduction of the drums until a powerful ballad is constructed with layers and layers of pretty melodies and harmonies working together like a jigsaw. The lyrics and overall sound to this track are pretty but meaningful (just like all of Tom's songs) and I recommend it if you want a song to easily full in love with. It's perfect in the way it grows and grows until you are consumed in a sound of lovely wonderful-ness. Thank you Tom for this brilliant song. I have it on repeat!!
