The Loose Hearts: Behind Your Eyes

Behind Your Eyes;

I found this track very interesting... I love the kind of old school rock and roll sound that you hear in the movie Grease and in some Elvis tracks. It's the laid-back and proper rock and roll sound so often ignored and not used these days. I literally cannot get over this track. I love the lead singers voice and the melody is catchy and easy to sing along with. The instrumentation is also great; it makes you want to dance and listen to the track again and again and again! I've listened to some of their other tracks and what I really love is that their sound isn't repetitive or samey. Each song is as great as the other but different at the same time. I would describe them as overall Indie/Alternative but I think this is why they don't have the Two Door Cinema Club effect whereby every song kinda sounds the same... Their sound is quirky but extremely effective. I think i've fallen a little bit in love with this band and I definitely suggest you give a listen to their songs! They have an album available on iTunes and amazon... 'How We Are Now'

I think you're gonna see them on this blog in the future. They're great!

  1. Bloody right they're great! I've been playing there here in the States on our station since March of this year. I cannot wait until their new EP drops!
