The song starts calm and cute with interesting instrumentation. The male vocals and harmonies are raw and meaningful following along a lovely melody. Then a guitar strums over a little repetitive ostinato pattern creating a foot-tapping and catchy track. I really love how the song changes throughout; you aren't given all it's secrets in the first minute. The track drops in and out, keeping the listeners interested and travelling with the song rather than just listening to it. I really like how this isn't just a typical pop song... I would put this into the alternative genre with some country/indie elements interwoven throughout. The Dripping Green is quirky but still so effective at making a track that is enjoyable to the ear without forcing a heavy bass to it's listeners. The band Delve have other tracks on their YouTube channel and are on twitter... Check them out if you're looking for something a bit quirky; I really recommend them!
