Les Passagers;
Now, I am not trying to stereotype but as a music student, French artists and French music is kinda my blind spot... I'd never really listened to or thought of listening to it. However, I randomly came across Berry and I get the PSY effect (no, not the K-Pop sound) but the fact that despite not knowing what the hell i'm singing about, I still love the track regardless. I love Berry's voice... It's very soothing and easy on the ear. Also, is it just me but doesn't the French accent make everything sound more... More... Hypnotising? I feel like i'm safe. She could be telling me i'm fugly and i'd just nod along! I love the instrumentation to this track; There is the use of some quirky acoustic sounds which just make the song even more relaxing and coaxing. If you want some very easy listening, give Berry a listen; it seems all her songs glide with her flowing vocals. Les Passagers is perhaps even more lively than other tracks such as Le Bonheur or Si Souvent.
