I've decided to start a new series here on Forteloud, looking at new K-Pop releases. If you know me well then you'll know that I love K-Pop, and with so many new songs being released every week it's hard to keep track. So I thought of collecting some of the songs in a post every week, and seeing all the different songs and artists who are making some awesome pop music! Hope you enjoy!

July Week 1

It's finally starting to feel like summer, so we should be expecting lots of exciting summer releases which means lots of fun! This week was heavily dominated by the ladies, but we had a couple of boy groups too. Enjoy!

Breathless by ASTRO

Fantagio's rookie group return with their 2nd mini album and lead single 'Breathless'. It's got the perfect summery vibe, and if you love a cute concept then check it out! It's already got over 400,000 views in just a few days, which is very impressive for a rookie group!

Butterfly by BEAST

BEAST offer something different to your average summer release. Although it's a pre-release for upcoming title track Ribbon, it definitely should not be ignored! Check it out for some sweet, mellow vocals. It's also gathered an impressive 2 million views in under a week!

High Heels by Brave Girls

My favourite group release of this week, the sadly underrated Brave Girls are back with a super addictive track for summer. The video is also great fun to watch, so go ahead and give them a view, they totally deserve it!

WE by PLEDIS Girlz

DEBUT ALERT! PLEDIS Girlz have arrived with a sweet track WE. I believe a couple of the girls from I.O.I are in the group although they do not appear in the video. The girls collectively composed the song and wrote the lyrics together, and have said it was made for the fans. Sooo cute!

Watch Me by PPL

PPL are a group composed of models, and although they are relatively unknown and have a small budget, this is a decent pop song! It's got a good beat, and a mellow sound perfect for summer. I hope this gets a considerable amount of recognition and views!

I Like U Too Much by SONAMOO

Sonamoo return with their third mini album and title track I Like U Too Much after a year since their previous release Cushion. I really like this song, it's a feel good track and the girls show some impressive vocals. The video is also really cute, the girls are so pretty. I'm all heart eyes emoji <3

Why? by WANNA.B

WANNA.B come back with Why? Their second single after their debut in July last year. I really love this song too, it instantly grabbed my attention on first listening. It has a mysterious and catchy melody, and I hope it gets lots of attention and recognition because it seriously deserves it!

Funny how two tracks released this week have the same name. The princess of K-Pop is back with another amazing tune. As if Girls' Generation didn't slay enough, Taeyeon always seems to just bang the nail right on the head with her solo releases. She's got one of the best voices in Korea, and this song is an awesome contrast to her previous release 'I', but doesn't fail to show her serious talent. The song and video are perfect for summer, and I think this one is gonna be on repeat for weeks! It's also already got over 6,000,000 views!
