Okay the title is a little misleading, Ned hasn't actually joined a metal band. However a new band has formed based on everyone's favourite neighborino Ned Flanders. Okilly Dokilly, from Phoenix have a strange love for the Simpsons character Ned Flanders. they released 4 demos and the band members are all called Ned, such as Head Ned and Red Ned. Their mix of 60's rock and hardcore punk is probably something Ned Flanders would not appreciate. It is the kind of band Ned would make Rod and Todd pray. The band have also said they are in the process of writing an Ode to the Leftorium. I have to say is it is one of the most bizarre combinations I have ever experienced. Give them a listen and if you don't Ned will be watching.
