Let me start by saying how much I LOVE K-Pop. There is so much energy, colour and fun in all K-Pop music, and I just literally can't get enough of it, it's a majority of what I listen to nowadays. If you are as obsessed with K-Pop as I am then you will have no no doubt heard of Girls' Generation (known in Korea as So Nyeo Shi Dae, and commonly referred to as SNSD) They are one of the biggest and longest running K-Pop acts, and my personal favourite K-Pop group. Following former member Jessica's departure last year, the girls haven't had much activity, but last month they revealed that they had prepared three songs for their big summer comeback that they would be promoting back to back. The first song has arrived in perfect time for summer, and it's great. 

PARTY is the first of the three songs. It's the perfect summer tune to party to. The melody is sweet and catchy and very innocent feeling, the lyrics are about partying in the summertime with your friends. I mean, what more could you want for a perfect summer party song? Although the weather in England during our 'summer' this year is borderline wintery, putting on this song just makes everything feel a bit warmer and summery.

The video is so cute. Our fave girls dancing and having fun in a beautiful summer paradise. As if I couldn't be any more jealous than I already am, the girls look totally gorgeous in their summer clothes. I especially love Sunny who is definetly channeling Ariel from 'The Little Mermaid' with her long, bright red flowing locks.

I know a lot of people can be a bit skeptical about K-pop because its not music that we're used to, and I understand it's not for everyone, but please give this a chance. I guarantee it will give you a pick me up on these gloomy, rainy days in the summer of England!
