Wanted;

If you haven't heard of Boyce Avenue I would imagine you are not much of a youtube-obsessed kind of person because they are part of the old-school channels that have seemed to uploading music since, like, forever, gaining millions of subscribers and fans across the world. I remember finding them back in 2008 and was instantly won over by their acoustic makeovers of popular tracks as well as the lead singers coaxing vocals. I knew every couple of months, I could return to their channel and find various new covers of songs which I could then put on repeat: they are my go-to band I guess then! As a massive Hunter Hayes fan, when I saw they did a version of his song 'Wanted' I couldn't wait to give it a listen. The original is pretty acoustic already and very slow and poetic and yet, as Boyce Avenue always do, I was transported even further into the melodies and lyrics of the song. This is a ballad and the acoustic guitar makes it into the most wonderful of serenades. 

This isn't their most popular upload however I suggest if you haven't listened to them, this cover is a perfect example of their trade mark strength. Although it only features one member of the band, this is sound they often create in their other covers. A raw but warm and safe track. Some of my other favourites is their cover of 'We Found Love' by Rihanna (ft. Calvin Harris) and 'Roar' by Katy Perry. Give this a listen and then the others and before you know it, you'd have spent half a day sitting through all their covers and original songs because they are that addictive.
