Taylor Swift: Treacherous (Acoustic) Live

Treacherous;

Taylor Swift has recently been in the UK performing her Red Tour (which I went to see, obvs) in which she performed some of her old classics as well as most of the songs from her number one album Red (which was incredible, obvs). As a MASSIVE Swiftie, this was a highly anticipated night and I wasn't disappointed but actually danced/sang/cried more than I was expecting (which was pretty impressive, obvs). Taylor has a way of making you really listen to lyrics and it's her poetry and melodies which make her songs enchanting stories of reality: views we all have and don't care to admit too either. Track three from the album Red is Treacherous and it was always a track I never skipped but it wasn't my favourite. Then, when I saw her live, the lyrics and the melody came alive and this simple song became an anthem to me, it's lyrics but mostly it's warm sound. I love the original but this acoustic version she streamed to us Swifties way back when she first announced her album echoed during her performance during her show. It's delicate, emotive and poetic and she performs on point in this little acoustic session. I love this version and find myself floating away whenever I listen to it, which in horrible winter, is quite enchanting after all.
