I saw an advert for London Grammar on TV during Made in Chelsea and it was their name which caught my attention... I don't know if it's because I love London or because the name just eluded to something new, raw and fresh. The vocalist, Hannah, has such haunting but at the same time, warm voice, you can't help but fall into the track as you let her voice pull you in. It's has a chilled sound but Hannah's vocals bring the strength with the lyrics and the flavour of her voice. The instrumentation makes the track chilled yet works with the vocal melody instead of against it, so the overall sound is strong and powerful. Check out another one of their tracks... 'Wasting My Young Years' which was another track I loved. I think their sound is current and their music is exciting and i'm looking forward to seeing where they go in the next few months!
