Charlotte Campbell: Feathers and Wax

Feathers and Wax;

No surprise i'm a fan of this girl's music; an acoustic guitar and soothing voice and i'm won over! Her voice reminds me of Kate Nash yet her music, although as organic, should be seen as far more soft and inviting. Feathers and Wax caught my attention due to the name and then the lyrics. This isn't just a simple little pop song; Charlotte seems to sing about deeper topics, shown through how the song grows and develops with the electric guitar and drums opposed to just acoustics the way through. She regularly does covers and I think has an EP/Album out soon, so if you, like me, love acoustic pop with great vocals, you should definitely give her a listen!
